Avobenzone is a synthetic ultraviolet absorber, a good UV-A (>320nm) type ultraviolet absorber, which can block UVA in the whole band (320nm 400nm), and is an efficient broad-spectrum oil-soluble UVA Light filter, compounded with other UVB sunscreens, can provide full UVA and UVB protection for the prevention of photoinduced skin cancer.
