Chitosan hydrochloride, also called Chitosan HCL, the CAS number is: 70694-72-3, which is made by adding hydrochloric acid ethanol solution to chitosan, and then filtering, washing residue, drying, crushing and other processes. Since chitosan can only be dissolved in some dilute inorganic acids or organic acids, it can not be directly dissolved in water, which limits its application to a large extent, so chitosan hydrochloride makes up for this significant shortcoming.
